A book written with 4 pages of notes written in both Chinese and English on the topic 詩經 (Shijing). Notes on 毛詩指說 (a book on Shijing written by 成伯璵 in the Tang Dynasty), translation of the poem "式微" and "宛丘" and scores for "卷耳", "緇衣", "清廟", "七月", "鹿鳴", "鵲巢", "黍離" in Shijing are also attached.

Scope and Contents From the Collection:

This collection includes personal files, materials generally related to education in Hong Kong, and materials related to Sweeting’s time as a professor the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of History at the University of Hong Kong. There are also files relating to research he did for several publications, including two volumes on the history of education in Hong Kong, and drafts for these works. These files are the bulk of the collection.
